Wow, your tank actually broke? Or did it simply overflow? And you had your livestock living in a bucket for a year? Two posts in and it's already a crazy thread over here! 😂 4 Quote Link to comment

And the side and back glass separated about 1 1/2 in from the top of the tank looks like the silicone just failed. 2 Quote Link to comment

Christopher Marks
I guess the fish just weren’t ready for their big debut! That stinks the tank seam split so fast, but at least it wasn’t a catastrophic failure. Have you decided on a new tank yet? 2 Quote Link to comment

N/A
Well I got a little update for you all. I Got the extra rock in Along with MICROBACTER7 to help seed the new rock. The tank will be delivered 12/20/2019 along with a few extra item. Due to going with a bigger tank I have decided to also get the red sea rsk-300 skimmer. Even tho its rated for 130gal or 80gal heavy stocked I will be putting a valve on the air line to dial it down. 4 Quote Link to comment

N/A
So the tank has gotten a white cloud to it. The only thing I have add is micro bacter 7. The sponges I have had for the last 4 years are not looking so well and zoas are closed up along with the mushroom . But all sps have nice extension. So what could be making the water white and pissing of the soft coral but not the sps? 1 Quote Link to comment

Take a look at my Office NR journal and look at my recent post entitled “To Hell and Back” which I documented my experience with dealing with an algae bloom that started off as a “white cloud”. If you look at each Day and Picture after I installed the UV Sterilizer, you can compare it to your tank and see if any of those white clouds look similar. Quote Link to comment

I have seen many algae blooms and this is nothing I have ever seen. I can not even capture it on camera as its just a faint white. It also has not decreased nor increased. I even try doing a 60% water change with no luck last night. Id say it was my eyes but I am not the only one seeing it. with the sponges along with all other soft coral Looking like they are dieing off But all sps looking good I am having a hard time figuring out whats going on. Also yes I have tested the water and I have found nothing of alarm. Quote Link to comment
