Recommended Posts

Finally got situated in our house with space for an upgrade.  Decided to go larger for the first time.  Crystal Dynamics was a great company to order with.  Sold my WB frag tank and put the corals and live rock in my closet till this tank cycled!  All my corals made it through the transition okay and are doing fine.  Excited about doing a mixed reef but also getting some Tangs in the near future!

Specs:

230 gallon Crystal Dynamic Aquarium- Eurobraced with ghost overflow

Tideline 48 Sump

Arrived safe and sound.

Update??

Awwww, I had to abandon this project.  The ice storm we had here in Texas a while back wiped out almost everything.  We went 10 days without electricity.  Luckily I had a air pump and air stone.  I grabbed my favorite clown and a damsel with my most priced frags and put them in a cooler that I took with us to the hotel.  When I came home, everything was a popsicle.  I was devastated and sold it.  The reason I got this setup was to collect some tangs but I lost em all.  Lesson learned.  I am returning back to my roots and about to setup a lagoon.  I'll start a thread soon!
