572379
I've got to try flushing a crab out with some carbonated water-wondering if anyone else had tried aomething similar and whether or not it hurts the rock/water quality. (The rock will be removed for this) Link to comment
Maerow
Rinse the rock before putting it back obviously. Sponges will definately die but the rock should recover. If you really want that crab gone it is worth it. Link to comment
Doc Shake
i've never done it, but know of people that have used beer to get crabs out of rock. I wouldnt try myself, but if you do, save some water from a change and rinse the rock very well prior to returning it to your tank. Crabs are very easy to trap, you might want to try that first. 572379
I tried the old carbonated water to no avail. I'll have to try a trap. Turned the coraline a funky looking green though Link to comment
