redheadedcoral
I have had my tank set up for about 3 months now and over the last month and a half I’ve seen some weird algae growth. Can anyone identify this algae? There is dark spotty algae growing on my live rock (it’s not coraline) and there’s also some light brown algae growing on my window and sand. I can’t tell if it’s diatoms or Dino’s. Recently in the last week my hammer coral has also stopped opening as full as normal. All my water parameters measure good. Could this be because of an algae outbreak? Quote Link to comment

Then we might have a shot at saying what it is! 😎 On 12/1/2019 at 6:12 PM, redheadedcoral said: All my water parameters measure good. Meaning what? Can you post the numbers? Also, how are you filtering/cleaning your tank? Quote Link to comment
