Plumbing Setup / Equipment Choices

Hi all, just looking for some advice on the following plumbing/equipment for my new display. The plan I currently have is as follows:

 

 

The main question I had was whether I should run my ALR-1 Algae Reactor off my return pump or not? And if the current pump would be big enough?

Skip the algae reactor until you see if you need it.

 

 

Seems like running it as an all-in-one would be easiler, if it would fit your overall needs.  Check out the Tunze Reefpack 250, for example....it would replace that whole diagram with a simple in-tank setup. 

 

Alternately, consider just running the Tunze skimmer without a side-filter. 

 

Skimmer+Live rock is the best formula there is, and it would make for a supremely simple setup.
