It's been a while since my last post.

I recently added an chaeto reactor to my max nano. That's about 3 weeks growth.

I have to say I love it very much. Almost too powerful for a nano tank. I can see a lot of copepods and apparently my fish are very happy about it.

I had to upgrade the stock skimmer to tunze 9001 so I can put the return pump in the back chamber though.

Red Sea test kits are the choice if you want accurate results and more affordable than Hanna checkers.IMG_20191026_124332.thumb.jpg.0f57b4b1f9dca49ca7bc73cb9cb3800e.jpgIMG_20191026_124830.thumb.jpg.d55f179eb1b007f751c8fbcfa22f9e07.jpgIMG_20191026_131804.thumb.jpg.946a950b61e5a91df234ba880ee6fc83.jpgIMG_20191026_135518.thumb.jpg.3946712c222ba11afb0bf192992a6622.jpg

As you can see, undetectable PO4 and NO3 using salifert kits. I was worried about my nutrients are bottom up. Good thing that Red Sea kits are much accurate, my NO3 is 1 and my PO4 is 0.02.

My acro is quite happy now, next step will be a dosing pump and slowly turn it to be a SPS dominating tank.
