Thanks for the input I would actually call a pectina with it's polyps wide open, mesenterial filaments all over, and long sweepers out laying waste to it's surroundings a "happy" coral. While I don't have a pectina, I've got a merulina (they are in the same family and very closely related) and it is by far the nastiest coral in my tank. Many other corals in my sandbed have went to war with it, not a single one has so much as even gotten a hit in. They should probably be the one's called "war corals" since actual war corals get spanked by them. 1 Quote Link to comment
