Tired
These are from my LFS. They don't have much more color in person, but they look cool under blues. These are from SaltCritters.com. I know the green ones aren't fully uncurled yet, but I'm curious. Any ideas? I like their splotched skirts. And, do y'all think the redder ones are the same as below? They look similar in daylights, but their mouths don't glow in blues. Also from Saltcritters. Any idea what they are, and if they're the same as above? Also, any ideas on that one red polyp, and... what is it doing? Is it splitting? A mutant double-mouthed one? (after a bit of Googling, apparently both are possible, so I may have to just wait and see what it does.) I'm going to be updating this now and then with new things I'm hoping for a name of. My LFS has a lot of zoas run through that they don't have the name of, and sometimes polyps wind up attached to bits of substrate in their sale tanks, and get left behind when the colony is sold. At $2 a polyp and $5 for a small cluster, it's a pretty irresistible deal when you spot something interesting. So, what's this interesting fella? Please disregard the excess glue. It's a bit darker red in person, sort of a dried blood color. It looks striking enough that I suspect someone's named this. The white is just a bit of hunk that I didn’t remove because I didn’t want it to get upset and close. 1 Quote Link to comment
