No need for a hydra on a tank this small lol, just grab a prime, heck a HIPARGERO or Tuna-Blue PAR38 would do you just fine.

It's a bit deflated right now, so pictures hopefully later. 🙂

The Eagle Eyes Zoa's are doing really great:

These are Cats Eye Zoa's from my other tank:

And the 'collection' of Zoa's with a suprise in the back. 😉

What the hip is this on the glass? It's about 1-2mm 'big'. Is it good or bad?

Edit: It looked like a flatworm to me and I don't read much positive reviews about them, so I removed it. 🙂

The 'cliffhanger' from yesterday are now opened and they are Walter Zoa's. 🙂

Getting some lovely colours and beautiful shots of those Zoas.

And yes that was most likely a flatworm, I tend to remove those as well although i think it is the red ones that are the worst

Thank you! And I don´t even take the pictures with the macro-lens, which I sent back... And bought this tank instead..! 😄

Hopefully I can get you a picture from the green Corallimorph tomorrow. 🙂

And I removed a second smaller flatworm today, pretty easy when they appear on the glass.

Tonight I´m heading off to a private-seller of frags, varying from Kenia tree coral till fancy Acropora's.. That's going to be interesting.. 😊

The guy has a very nice 132 gallon and more than five years old tank.

I 'stole' some frags from him. For about 22 dollar in total I got:

- Blue with green zoa's;

- Three types of Discosoma's (including an orange/red one)

- Two small orange Montipora frags.

Pictures later. 😊

Thanks, still small patches, but I hope that will change in the coming months. 😊

I couldn't resist buying some Bambam Zoa's yesterday as well, which brings the total to nine different Zoa's, for now.. 😅

Yesterday I couldn't resist buying a new variety of Zoa's with an all yellow center. Could be a King Midas, but I'm not really sure yet.

And they had a red mushroom with little white dots...! 😁

One of the green Discosoma's is getting quite big already (like 1.5 to 2 inches) and you can see the new one lurking in the shadows.. 😉

Which filtration do you use? Greets from Belgium.

Well, I have biological filtration through the live rock and get the nasty bits out with a weekly 10%-20% waterchange. That's it pretty much. 😊

Haha, we will see, probably start this light at 10%-15%. Tomorrow we will see.

Be cautious if going on visually-apparent brightness, our eyes really suck at gauging how bright lights are - much less very blue-violet light we borderline can't see at all XD

I actually upgraded my light too >_> I should rent a PAR meter lol...

Thanks for the warning, I will be very cautious. The light should arrive in a few hours! 😄

And since I discoverd the word 'Gongshi' and 'Scholar's Rock' on Google, I want something like that in the tank and asked for reef cement by my lfs.. 😱

And I made myself a super fancy 'refugium' for my Caulerpa, because it's growing like weed and already grows under my Zoa's.. 😮

And hopefully it will be a safe place for like copepods, where hungry wrasse can't reach.IMG_20191128_134027166.thumb.jpg.01131c37818d2212cfd5b201c8f754b1.jpg

I think the 'refugium' will be inside my tank this weekend.

You wouldn't believe it, but they misdrilled the holes for the lightning holder..! 😣IMG_20191128_155705187.thumb.jpg.6912393e4e957850ee1bce193b88de32.jpg

So now I first have to drill a new hole in the metal holder before I can use the new light, bummer!
