ReefingDaily
I got a brand new icecap gyre 1k today and decided to set it up. I quickly realized that both propellers were way too strong in my Biocube 29 so I’m currently using one half. I’ve fiddled around with the settings and placement but can’t get it to a place that I like. Right now it’s in a vertical position near the intake of chamber one. I really would like some advice because I can’t run this pump past 10% without it whipping my corals around. I really would like to be able to utilize the random mode, but bouncing back from 10% to 20% isn’t really random. Should I try to return it and buy a Jebao wavemaker? It just seems like my Xenia are getting too much flow. I would upload a photo but I’m not sure how to. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Just made a post on a thread for a 20 gallon that would also apply here to your BioCube: Quote Link to comment
