Tired
Oh, hey, it's the funky little dish-head guy. Nice critters! Do they seem to be getting along well? 1 Quote Link to comment

Doesn't seem to be a problem. Tamatoa has some beefy claws but I struggle to rip palythoas off so I can see why. 3 Quote Link to comment
johnmaloney
Small crabs can have amazing strength, I have taken some pinches from small crabs that have broken skin, and these are nickel sized carapace crabs. 4 Quote Link to comment

Tamberav
It is so awesome how the pattern is different on each one! Do you know where/how to find them to collect them so they can be offered for sale? Quote Link to comment
johnmaloney
There is some blue light distortion but they really are that different looking from each other. Maybe...but I don’t want to jinx it 🙂 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
lol If they go up for sale I will probably be tempted to buy some more, although one already eats enough palys! 2 Quote Link to comment

johnmaloney
Upside down behavior confirmed in both of the ones I have here. 🙂 I think Tamatoa is a she, is that correct? I haven't checked these guys yet. To be honest I am scared to handle them, they are so small and I don't want to hurt them. I have them in a tank that is at eye level so even though they spend their days on their back I can't get a good look at their abdomen. May find her a boyfriend at some point, would like to see how they behave together. I have a long list of dibs people though I had to give notice too first, if they don't pick them up I will check these two. 1 Quote Link to comment

I didn’t even notice that at first but you are right. They have different shapes but the same similar “frog” type pattern. (That is what I see in the ink blot at least 🙂 ) 2 Quote Link to comment
