in the middle of a WC need fast answer

I just got my new salt (RS blue bucket)  I was going to do a 2 gal WC (I have a 16 gal)  I already sucked 2 gal out and made up 2 gal with new salt. The old water KH 11.2  New water KH is 9.3  Will that be too much of an alk swing?

 

Should I dump 1 gal of my old water back and just add 1 gal of the new water?

too late for tonight, my tank water was getting too cold w/o the pumps on.  I used one old and one new (more like 1 1/2). to be safe.  I will test the KH and see what the dif is.  How much of a swing is too much?

It will be fine. 

Some of these pico tanks get 100% water changes and alk gets fairly low just before it gets reset to whatever the new alk level water mixes at.

I just tested and tank is at 10.3 KH so it moved about 1 pt (11.2 to 10.3).
