Pros- you can have more flow without the worry of sandstorms No worry about the detritus in sand becoming trapped and an eventual issue No need to vacuum sand Looks clean Can place corals directly to bottom to eventually cover the bottom glass Cons- Still needs vacuuming or else detritus builds and looks yucky For those who want certain livestock, you can't do bb because they may need sand Doesn't look as natural 1 Quote Link to comment
