Tired
Just spotted this. I know clear crawling flatworms are harmless, but this one worries me because it’s extending from a hole in the rock and groping around like polyclads do. And I just added snails, so it might be smelling those. (Don’t mind the algae, this is the highest spot in the tank and I had my photoperiod too long.) Also, one of my eunicid worms in the lower of the picture. Biggest I’ve seen, “crown” about 1/4” wide. Haven’t bothered my zoas any, so I’m thinking/hoping it’s one of the benign ones. I'm blind, that's a striped aiptasia. I have small eunicids, but none that do the "here are my antennae" pose. Update: I've seen it again, once more, doing the same thing. So, what is it, and how do I get it out if it's a problem? Preferably without hurting all the other life in the rock, it's got a lot of nice macros and worms on it, and I think that's where my chitons live. Do polyclads eat chitons? 1 Quote Link to comment
