Jorge091293
I have a Sherman rose bubble tip anemone my friends can’t take care of its rock flower anemone and is giving it to me for my tank will they be compatible. I know anemones move and stay where they please... or should I just avoided it it’s going into my 75 gallon tank Quote Link to comment
OldManSea
I have had bubble tips, rock flowers and maxi mini anemones together in my 37 gallon tank. The bubble tips wander around but have not harmed the other anemones. Of course a direct landing by a bubble tip can damage or kill any other coral or anemone. My cauatrea colony was ultimately completely killed by one of the bubble tips which actively attacked it several times. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jorge091293
I’ll try to put him on the other side of the tank finger crossed he will stay there I know they live to wonder around .. and yes bubble tip already started harassing my gold frogspawns and killed several of my mushrooms Quote Link to comment
Tired
Rock flowers don't really tend to go anywhere, so you don't have to worry about that. If the bubble tip happens to wander over and sting the rock flower, that's not going to go well. But it's not going to smell the other anemone and intentionally go after it. They're as compatible as anything else sessile is with a bubble tip. Quote Link to comment
Jorge091293
Thank you for all your replies I will get it in a week as the anemone got stuck pretty good on a rock and we don’t want to bother it if it dose t come off I will bring the rock with me 😄 Quote Link to comment
Tired
It's very unlikely to let go. If you point a powerhead directly at it, it may get annoyed and let go, but rock flowers rarely move. Quote Link to comment
