NaturallyKait
These frags are for sale at my LFS. Look like LPS? I’m trying to figure out if they’d do ok in my tank (13.5g evo) under a Kessil a80. 1 Quote Link to comment

mcarroll
Should be OK in the light. Don't buy a coral (or anything) without reading up on it though. 1 Quote Link to comment

That’s why I wanted to confirm what it was, so I could research before potentially buying it. 2 Quote Link to comment
MrObscura
It's a favia. They can be somewhat aggressive so make sure you can give them room. As mentioned always research any animal you plan to keep. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don’t want to get into coral aggression in such a small tank as a beginner. 1 Quote Link to comment
MrObscura
Theres a number of corals I like that are no go in my nuvo 10 for that very reason. 1 Quote Link to comment

As long as you isolate it (or place things upstream so they cannot be stung) you shouldn't have issues unless it grows really well Quote Link to comment

jambon
I have a war coral in my tank ... I would not consider it overly aggressive. I noticed sweeper tentacles maybe a half inch long. IME It is an easy coral for a beginner. 1 Quote Link to comment
