knox_legend
So, tank is going on six months old and I can figure out what these strings are. I had my diatom bloom and have had a bacteria outbreak but all that has cleared up. I have no other algae that I can see other than a few pieces of bubble algae on a frag plug I’ve removed and a little green hair on my tiger conch. So so far whatever these strings are are hard to remove and are white to almost clear. They don’t seem to bother anything and I know they aren’t vermitid snails as I can’t find their little tubes anywhere. Quote Link to comment
sadie
It almost looks like the start of bryopsis. I had an outbreak of that once, it looked like that in the beginning, but it was more green though. so maybe not. Quote Link to comment
knox_legend
Yeah I’m not totally sure. I don’t run much red or green in my light schedule so I guess it could be that but without much green? 🤷🏼♂️ Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
How's it going now? Can you post your most recent test results for nitrates and phosphates (at least) if you're still having issues? Quote Link to comment
