coltnanoreef
Thinking about setting up a 22 long and like the look of T5 and the shimmer of LED so gonna go with a hybrid. the dimensions are ~35x12x12. How many t5's would be sufficient for sps? 2 or 4? along with a reef brite led possibly? would 4 T5's wash out any shimmer a reef brite could make? open to any other suggestions. thanks. Reefkid88
You could do a Reefbrite (Supra I think) 2 bulb "retro" and there is enough room between the bulbs to run a ReefBreeders led strip down the middle. Quote Link to comment

LED strips would be a better compromise option IMO. Some shimmer from the LED's, but WIDE, EVEN coverage from the wall-to-wall spread of the LED emitters. A Current USA Orbit Marine (standard) would be fine....probably a Model 4101, given the dimensions of the tank. Quote Link to comment
