Zoas changing colours

Recommended Posts

Your color changing zoas look like "kaleidoscope" zoas I had some years ago  from what I recall the spatters tend to shift and appear or disappear depending on the lighting and placement. I have some grandis pallys now that do something similar with patterns and amounts of brown/green changing depending parameters. Placement and water parameters. Sometimes the same polyp will be totaly brown and white or mostly green and white or a mix of brown green and white. That last one looks nice.

Here's an updated shot of the "tie dye" mini colony that I've been working to recover since last month.

Finally opening back up, and the swelling of the membrane has gone down.

You can actually see the rock that the colony is growing on now.
