Cindy Lu
I need to know how to get rid of my red algae. My magnesium doesn’t even register when I test it. I’ve added 2 bottles of mag in the last 3 months! I need help! Quote Link to comment

That has to be a testing error. 1 hour ago, Cindy Lu said: I need to know how to get rid of my red algae. Are you referring to red slime algae (cyanobacteria)? Quote Link to comment
j.falk
Water changes, higher flow and less light will all help with red slime cyanobacteria. Chemiclean will also work in a pinch but you really need to figure out what is causing it to really resolve the problem. Quote Link to comment
