IM 50 gallon lagoon lighting

So I bought this tank on Craigslist and am getting everything up and going. I’ve been told different things about the light that came with it. It came with an AI hydra 26 hd. I’ve been told it should be got with this tank and that the tank is too wide for this light. If it is too small what is a good option. I am mainly wanting a lps dominated tank with a lot of bright colors. May try a couple easier sps down the road. Thanks.

Ai's are a great light and powerful.

lps are not high light corals.

 

Just keep low light corals on the outer edges where par will be lower.

 

Try out the light and you can always add another AI Prime HD if you need it.

That’s what I was thinking and since it’s a shallow tank I think that would help.
