Saltyfox Posted September 15, 2019 Share Posted September 15, 2019 Just wondering what people would run in an aqua clear HOB filter in a QT tank, it won’t be running all the time just when I get new additions so biological filtration is a must from my cycled tank. If you have to medicate, I would add a sponge in the filter to establish a bio filter. Any rocks you put in a qt will absorb meds. I don't prophylactically medicate so I have liverock and bio media in my qt. Quote Link to comment
