Tkstarr
Hello, I’m new to reef keeping and need help identifying this coral. My friend gave it to me today and has no ideal what the name of this coral is. Can someone please help me identify the name of this coral so I can research how to take care of it online. I appreciate any help you guys can offer me. Thanks! 1 Quote Link to comment
Pjanssen
looks like a pocillapora to me. SPS coral. Not a great beginner coral, but not the most difficult either. If you stay on top of keeping your water parameters stable you can do it. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
colinadam
Could also be a birdsnest, I have seen chunky birdsnests. Either way, SPS, give it good flow and plenty of light and you should be fine 1 1 Quote Link to comment

mcarroll
Agreed on the ID. If you want, post up the basics about your tank and your water tests and we might be able to point out some things or make suggestions. Quote Link to comment
