Ball or Ghost anemone/coral? Tiny!!

Recommended Posts

So at first I thought aptasia, but upon more research, this may be a tiny coral or ball/ghost anemone....IDK. When I say small, this thing is about 1/8” in diameter. Any thoughts? I don’t want to kill it if it’s harmless. 😑

That’s what it looks like. 😊

not really much to do for it, they sometimes will come and go throughout the life of a tank.

Def looks like a ball anemone. Had one in my IM 10 and used to feed it. It never really grew or moved. Never noticed any others in the tank so it was allowed to stay.

100% a ball nem.  They are cool little guys, harmless.   There are some white ball ones and red ball ones that I've had.  Both only opened in the dark or heavily shaded areas.
