Spencer88
Does anybody have a maintenance/water test spreadsheet or excel? I'm looking for one but cant find any that seem decent. Thanks Quote Link to comment
OldManSea
I use Aquarimate. It has convenient graphics. 2 Quote Link to comment
billygoat
Aquarimate seems pretty cool. It's probably better than my logging method... 😂 1 Quote Link to comment
parajax
Yep Aquarimate. Lots of options and easy to use. Quote Link to comment
Clown79
I've used aquarium note but often just keep it in a note book written down as well as on a spreadsheet. 1 Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
For the first 5 years or so... I tested everything all the time. And I logged everything in a DIY change tracker I built on a TikiWiki platform that I could access and update from anywhere in the world. I learned a lot and having that log was VERY useful. Then for the next five years or so... I slowed waaaaay down in testing. Hard to imagine, I know. I also coincidentally took the TikiWiki down, so wasn't logging anything for a good while. Now... I use one blank 4x6 notecard... ...that I store in my "test kit toolbox" along with a really nice pencil like this: And these days I test something like monthly or as-needed. Here is the range of items I have always logged: Date Specific Gravity Alkalinity Calcium Magnesium Nitrates Phosphates Notes I try to test everything every time I test or else my kits end up expiring. But I often end up just testing the one or two things I need to know. 1 Quote Link to comment
Opotter
I just started using aquatic log, but aquarimate looks better. I may switch too! Don’t know how I missed that one when I was looking for an app. Quote Link to comment
