The way you worded it i thought you're shutting down the tank and selling corals for £20 lol!
You can sometimes get real bargains/rob from people on local facebook sale pages., there's a dude selling a massive bubble tip anemone near me for a fiver!!

I'll be setting up a little frag tank and buying corals from local facebook sales i think lol!

Close, someone I know and have been helping out for a while has decided to shut his tank down, He has been having a lot of difficulties with MS lately and just cant manage it anymore. I'll be helping him set up a Cichlid tank shortly as its less maintenance overall.  Ended up paying him £50 and sure I'll throw him a heater, powerhead etc whatever he needs.

Definitely, the only reason I joined another forum (UR) is that it is UK based and people put up tank breakdown sales all the time!

Ok so they have all been in the tank for a couple of hours now and have stopped releasing the slime (I used a baster to remove as much of that as possible).

I probably should have asked what each of these actually was, but this game of ID the Coral is kinda fun.

Top Down Shot to show the size of these Montipora Caps, got a Red, Light Green, Purple/Grape and Green Edged Purple?

Good luck! So far I haven’t killed my montis but they don’t thrive like other stuff and I utterly failed with acros and birdsnest. 😢

Not sure what I'm going to do with the Monti Caps to be honest, looks like I now have to much rock in the tank lol

Might get some downpipe and make a little corner Cap Rack?

That’s Definitely an acropora, and I don’t think that’s a Pocilipora might be a stylophora I had one similar pic below the one under the green, the one you have just looks stressed.

That birdsnest your best bet is to Clip the good parts and glue them to rocks I found it that once they start dying like that they won’t stop clipping the good parts helps the coral recover

They're all very stressed from the tank breakdown and move, should have seen the slime in the bucket i used to transport!

Also use a turkey baster and blast off all that’s stress slime on the montis it will help them.

Done already pal, but thank you

That Pocillopora has about a 50/50 chance of making it. I've gotten them in from Fiji and it looked like a bag of eyes where the polyps bailed out and had it come back. I've gotten them from Indo and look fantastic only to have them shit the bed in a week or 2. One thing I will say is now you'll have to either step up your water change schedule or start dosing.

Cool, I have been meaning to be more consistent with my maintenance routine. So thinking 20% change weekly to start to get some stability and take it from there?

We used to do a 5 gallon bucket change out of M's 130D every 3 days and it kept her tank right as rain. we did add kalkwasser through the make up water as well, not much, but if the Xenia in there were happy I knew I was golden.

Whoever gives me the best price on 500kg lots. 😄

😂😂😂 and that’s why I choose reef crystals, I was using the expensive Red Sea pro brand my LFS ran out and I had to buy the RC and I felt bamboozled for that 2 years I was using expensive brand

Red Sea Blue bucket for me, was thinking of switching to the pro on my new tank but seen as i got a moosive bucket of blue for cheap....
Gotta say though ratman, for the price you paid for the coral even if u lose some still worth it, learning curve and all - keeps the hobby interesting imo.

Kind of why i liked them random corals a while back from that site you told me about lol.

Seriously though, depending where my coral has actually stuck to in the evo when i go to move them to new tank i might have something for ya!
