Josh&Sarah's Reef
All, It is about time to add some fish to my 10 gallon tank (not a cube). I want to add a Dracula Goby and 2 tiny clowns, though not all at the same time. As the clowns grow there is an established tank in the fam I can send them off to, unless we start another larger tank, which we probably will (60 gallon) within the next year. My plan is to add a little Goby first, then in a couple months a very small clown, then a couple months after an additional clown. The only other live stock is our cleaner shrimp, a dwarf feather duster, 2 scarlet hermits, and a few varied snails on the CUC. ... not including corals. My parameters are solid and I do 20% to 25% water changes every Sunday. I know this would probably be absolute capacity, but do you think it is doable? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
BlennyBoi
that would definately be above capacity. im worried the clowns will get aggressive in that small space. the reccommended minimum for occellaris is 10 gallons for one clown, no other fish. im afraid 2 clowns and a goby in that space is a recipe for disaster. maybe another goby, possibly a watchman or yasha, plus featherduster, CUC and the cleaner shrimp you mentioned would make a nice display. Josh&Sarah's Reef
I went with 1 clown, 1 goby, 1 cleaner shrimp. I will probably move the clown after establishing a larger tank in the spring. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
