Slienst
What’s up guys. I recently got my first coral. It’s a hammer but I’m not sure if it’s ok or not. It kinda looks like it’s closed up. Do you guys have some advice? 1 Quote Link to comment
Ratvan
How long has it been in the tank? Did you purchase from LFS or get it Shipped? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Some hammers naturally shaped like that where the tentacles don't expand away from the body while other do. Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Was it more extended before you bought it? Lots of reasons it can close up: 1. still acclimating 2. too much light 3. too much flow 4. water too clean 5. being pecked at by the angel. Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
Please post some details about your tank along with the photos and condition of the coral. Test results for the Big 5 (ca, alk, mg, no3, po4) and a full tank shot for starters. A brief tank synopsis would be nice too since it sounds like a new tank. Tell us how you're running the tank, in a nutshell. Quote Link to comment
