pink acropora? Need id

Hi, I recently get this "acro" from my LFS, I'm not sure this is an acro but the seller told me that. Thanks for your help.

I also found this picture from coralpedia where appears the same coral but no info about it. I add the image just for reference because it's the same organism. Thanks again.

Doesn’t look like an acro. The only acro that comes in that color is red dragon, but growth pattern is way off, with the exception of the thin-looking branches. Also looks almost like a type of branching coralline algae. 

 

Was all the white skeleton showing at the lfs, or something that happened in your tank?  It doesn’t look healthy.

Thanks mitten. I did my research and it seems to be a Stylaster roseus AKA rose lace coral. It's actually a false coral, more related to fire corals. The white skeleton was showing since the lfs but today it looks better.

Interesting about the Stylaster Roseus.  So from my short research I can’t figure out if it’s NPS or not.  It says they grow in caves and overhangs.

There's no much info about it,  but it seems to have small polyps, probably to catch some organic particles from the water column. Right now it looks healthy in my reef aquarium but I will be watching it. Thanks

I have seen something similar diving... as you say it was in a cave with plenty of flow . The color faded at the tips so I think it is the normal color. It likely needs good feeding and clean water as an acro and indirect light.
