PaulKendrick
I have a new nuvo 10 set up with a Kessil a80 which I’m gonna keep at high intensity. I’ve always wanted to get a large anemone(sebae or condy) but I’ve heard it’s a horrible idea. I have no corals or nems in the tank yet, and I’m wondering if I got a small 6 inch anemone and fed it, would it die? I’d sell it if it got too big Quote Link to comment
Clown79
Sebae are considered difficult to keep expert level. Both condy's and sebae grow very large. You wouldn't be able to keep anything with the condy in there coral wise In a 10g, most recommended are bta's and rfa's Quote Link to comment
classlesseagle3
Depends how big of an anemone you start with, but if it's small, I don't see why you can't. Just make sure your tank is ready for it. I wouldn't try it until you have some successful coral for a month or two. You can always pull the older coral out once you place the anemone, too. Biggest thing for me with a small tank is because they're so compact, anemones can wreak havoc when they move. I've removed all my anemones for that reason. Just something to keep in mind Quote Link to comment
