thats nice they took care of you, guess they like you better than me lol

You situation totally sucked. I wonder if they are trying to appease the public a bit more. I saw another thread on here yesterday where someone’s fixture was fixed at no cost to them even though it was out of warranty.

I am relieved but at the same time I’m worried that this will just happen again next year.

Everything is doing pretty well lately. Some sticks are growing faster than others. That my oregon tort is the slowest, but its also sprouting towards the rear glass which stinks for viewing.

Tank is still going. I have hardly been touching it. Just feeding and changing the socks. Water change now once maybe twice a month with alk testing every week.

Thinking about taking it down so I can get back into other hobbies. However when I think of it, its now at a place where it takes care of itself and isn’t that expensive to keep going. However I did see a couple aiptasia ill need to take care of this weekend. So small.

The tank is looking great, seems like it's starting to hit it's stride!  Now is the fun part, sit back, maintain, and watch the corals grow.  Totally understand if you don't have the time for it anymore, but selfishly want you to keep it up so I can keep checking in an see where it goes!

Thanks guys! Hoping that if I start posting about it more it will keep my interest. For some reason I tend to keep tanks for a couple of years and then get bored. I think its because planning and building a system is my favorite part!

Love top downs. Clam seems a bit mad. I think there is a vermetid snail on the other side or something thats making it mad. Otherwise, this is the best view of corals.

@Elizabeth94 can you tell me what coral this is?  I have the same one and I've been meaning to research it a bit.  It's also the only SPS I haven't manged to kill.

Getting lazy with glass cleaning. Im trying not to lose interest in the hobby again- tanks is great, the best one I have had so far. But I get bored easily. I think its the “build” that really gets me excited. The very beginning of a new tank. But I am pushing through- because I know ill want another if I sold it all off.

Been a while since I updated. No issues. Tank is on autopilot basically. I noticed a couple more small aiptasia, like super tiny- so I ordered some berghia nudies to eat them.

I am a car person- traded in my ‘17 wrx for a ‘21 STI. Thats been taking up my time. Have my dream wheels sitting in boxes waiting to be mounted. I waited over three months for these- Work ZR10s made in Japan. Put an aftermarket catback on it and some tail lights.

Tank is being torn down. It was a great run, need money for my wedding! So I have to be an adult and do what is necessary.

Maybe in the next two years when we buy a bigger house Ill start another. But next time it will be much bigger so I can get some tang!

Thanks again nanoreef. Ill be back with a fourth tank for you all to follow again. Each one has been better than the last! Kinda 😉

Dang!  Your tank was doing so well! Sad to see you go!

I understand about the car stuff. I have so many hobbies my self.

Here’s my procharged Trailblazer SS.  I actually just bought a 1992 GMC Typhoon as well.

Yeah its bitter sweet. I do love this honny. And I feel that each time I have a tank it is easier to get things right. I have never covered white macro rock with this much coralline and sponge.

Wow that looks clean!

Just got my new wheels on yesterday.
