They are both nice

But the other one, the one you picked, is nicer

Found this nasty worm this morning. I figured it was a bad guy because it had a very distinct head with feelers. Small, maybe 1in long.

Got a pair of cleaner shrimp this morning. Hope they do well. Hanging out in the back corner where the glass is a bit dirty lol.

Got the right clam in the other day. Its super important to scrub the crap out of them with a tooth brush. I found several pyramid snails. So now every other night I need to pull both clams and give them a super scrub. I should also get a separate container for the clams to sit in as well. I read these snails will bury themselves in the sand bed.

They are super small!

What do they do? Gather that they must be pests, but what harm do they cause?

They pretty much suck the life out of clams and kill them. There are some that go after other snails too. Hopefully the ones I have are only interested in the clams.

Little update on my first freshwater planted tank. Got some Bloody Mary shrimp yesterday. I was surprised on how small they are!

The JF Coolers Champagne had a tough time in shipping when I picked it up. This is one that a fellow nanoreef member let me take when a trade went bad. I thought I was going to loose it. Starting to color up and grow.

I am trying to figure out why this piece is such a bright pink. Im wondering if its getting too much light. Or maybe it just hasn’t hit its growth spurt yet. Seems healthy otherwise.
