I am on a facebook group for ai primes and a guy was disappointed because he was having trouble with connecting.. people were saying he had a bad router. Well here's my question. I dont have a router. We connect to the internet at our house using the hotspot on my phone. Do you have to have continuous connection to the light or can I just set it up using my phone and connect to it using wifi hotspot if I need to change something. Thanks in advance. A.m.P Posted July 11, 2019 Share Posted July 11, 2019 You can just set it up and then disconnect it, the initial setup just requires that you connect to its' wifi signal, there's no requirement that you connect it to a router. The AI Prime makes its own “hotspot” if not on a network. Just download the app and connect to the prime’s wireless with your phone. Or connect to the prime’s wifi with a computer and open the devices webpage. Quote Link to comment
