12scanlon
Just wondering what y’all think I should put in this spot of my tank(red circled area in picture). I was thinking maybe making a RFA rock or putting a plate here but I’m open to suggestions. Sorry for the bad picture, lights are just about to go out. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
Plates, brains, elegances, acan garden, so many choices! Quote Link to comment
12scanlon
I know!! I’m having trouble deciding... I would definitely get a brain but my lfs doesn’t have them often and when they do they get sold almost immediately. Same with elegance’s. Do you know anyone online dealers that sell brains and elegance’s for a decent price? Quote Link to comment

Any kind actually - if you have access to different colored rics, I'll do those. Otherwise, there are plenty of discosoma and rhodactis in various colors/morphs which you could pile up against each other too. 🙂 2 Quote Link to comment

12scanlon
Just got home from the LFS... they didn’t have any corals that I really wanted to put in that spot. I did get a cool rock that I’m going to place there and start covering in mushrooms. As of right now I have a blue/green ricordia which I’m going to mount to it. They only had green RFAs so those were a no go as well(to much green in my tank). I also got an emerald crab to take care of some bubble algae and 10 micro brittle stars for 4$. 1 Quote Link to comment
12scanlon
Well I did a lottttt tonight. First off, I’ve been meaning to take some of the corals out of my pico so I did this tonight while acclimating some zoas. Then I did a water change on my pico as well as my 16 gallon. Now I have placed the rock in and mounted the ricordia. Hopefully that now he is off his frag disc he will start multiplying quickly. Here is an end result picture (again sorry for the quality, lights are just about to go out). 2 Quote Link to comment

I do really want a plate, but the only ones normally available at my LFS are normally extremely expensive. I saw a green one today for 90$ that I liked but was green. Many of my corals are green so I’m trying to find some orange or better colors. Quote Link to comment

My orange one was $45, dime size. Its grown pretty quickly. My favourite coral. Love watching it eat. If you are in the US, you have some really good online stores that many on here recommend. 1 Quote Link to comment
