Clown79 Posted July 5, 2019 Share Posted July 5, 2019 2700k is pretty low. Planted tanks need 6500k. Corals can live with 6500k but won't colour up. Corals do best with 10k-22k Quote Link to comment

Corals do best with 10k-22k I run mainly 100% RB/V/HV/B anyways so the cob would be pretty much 100% for picture taking so would it matter that much ? I mean its no biggie I can easily just use a Cree XML-2 or something of that nature. Just figured I'd ask since I have some already on hand. Quote Link to comment

Horerczy Posted July 5, 2019 Share Posted July 5, 2019 I've used a similar led to those. They're good just use the wiring harness designed for them. It's a pita to solder. 2700K is useful for getting some non florescing reds to show up. Quote Link to comment
