Zmill Posted June 30, 2019 Share Posted June 30, 2019 Have some small whiteish bugs crawling all over my zoas. Also noticed small clear looking/see through bubbles in the Zoa (refer to pic) my buddy told me that they’re amphipods but I’m not too sure. Any suggestions? 2 Quote Link to comment

mcarroll Posted July 29, 2019 Share Posted July 29, 2019 If you can, scrape the bubbles out with your fingernail(s) or tweezers or toothpick, etc. Pull off that hair algae while you're at it. Doing all that in a small tub of tank water outside the tank would be a decent idea, making it easy to separate the frag from the debris and to dispose of the leftovers while minimizing or eliminating the frag's exposure to air during transport or while you work on it. Just say hi to the amphipods tho....leave them in the tank. 🙂 3 Quote Link to comment
