dling
Has anyone built their own par meter? Ive looked at a few video's. Just not sure of the accuracy. I would like to have one. Just dont want to spend the money on a prebuilt one. Quote Link to comment

dling
So I was looking at the apogee web site for the par sensor . Looks like they a newer model available. https://www.apogeeinstruments.com/quantum/ . I was ready to pull the trigger when I saw this. My problem is that I have two multimeters and neither one of them read as low as 40mv. Now sure which sensor now. Quote Link to comment
FISHnChix
I went with the cheaper sensor.. after watching the videos about the accuracy on their website I didnt think the extra money was worth it.. for me though I didnt care if i was off by 20 par or so .. i just wanted to know if I was even close to the par I wanted... I'd say if you want super accurate and money isnt an issue get the quantum sensor. Or if you just want to check par once you can rent the whole meter from BRS... Quote Link to comment
