Tempestas
So, after running this pico for just over two months, I'm considering changing it up. What I'm thinking off is to remove the apex of the tall rock around the red line area. Because of the spherical shape of the fishbowl, when I am standing near it, I can never seem to see the top third of that rock, even though it is about 5 cm below the water line. Initially I was going to cover the rock in zoa's, but the more I think about it, the less I like the idea, especially because I won't see them most of the time. Ideally I want to attach my stylo's and monti digita to the apex to hopefully grow into some type of apex. I can always move the airstone to increase flow in that relative area. Otherwise turn it into a sheltered zone for hammers. Any thoughts? 1 Quote Link to comment
Christopher Marks
I think that's a great idea @Tempestas! Shallow aquascapes seem to work best in pico reef bowls and jars. 2 Quote Link to comment
Tempestas
Thanks @Christopher Marks. So today a buddy came over and we did just that. This is what it looks like now. Tank inhabitants not happy with the death of a white sponge though. 2 Quote Link to comment
