SeaFurn
Welcome! Wow - in another day or two you’ll be way ahead of some of us! Looking good so far. Loved the first two months’ FTS! 2 Quote Link to comment
748S911
Better late than never! Love this pico already, the white is amazing! Can’t wait to see this filled and stocked. 1 Quote Link to comment
debbeach13
Welcome back! You are moving right along. I think I have that same light on my JBJ QT tank. My mounting arm might have a tiny bit more rust. Reefbuilders some thing. Looking forward to watching you stock this baby. 2 Quote Link to comment
TatorTaco
Yay - another entry! Albeit a late one. :-) I was teetering on joining the janky tank thread as I've always wanted to try a pico tank, but I couldn't get past the "janky" part and didn't want wires all over the place and the HOB filter trickling noise would drive me nuts. Instead, I found a very small AIO off Amazon that I've set up and been running. I enjoy all your pictures and I can't wait to read another update on the tank. 3 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Whats up people! How was your day? Thank you all for coming into my thread. As promised, we go live in T-minus 1hour. 🙂 3 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Someone please tell that noob how to properly use a hydrometer! 2 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
The wait to transfer the corals is killing me. 2 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Your new home awaits, the water is cleaner on the other side. 😄 4 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Its real, people. Filling up the tank with half of the aged water so the corals don't go into shock. 3 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Corals are in. 3 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Have yet to scape though, will get more rocks to cover the ugly HOB intake. Here's another shot in white lighting. Don't mind the seeded filter media. 3 2 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Knocked off from work and rushed to the LFS to "just take a look" and got myself more mushrooms. 😐 The urge to stock the tank is there but I know I can't go too fast. Got myself 2 rocks of mushrooms, and 2 more tiny gonio frags. Here's a pic of one of the gonios, and some loose mushrooms that fell off the rock on the way home. 1 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Found this black slug hitchhiker on one of the rocks. Its black, slug like and has no shell. Anybody able to ID what it is? 2 1 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
I didn't manage to get pics of unpacking the rocks. One of the rocks had a surviving moon coral that I just couldn't pass on at the LFS. 3 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
A rock of white striped mushrooms at the top left corner. I have yet to do any scaping thus far but I'm liking the random placement of the rocks. Here's a top down view. 3 Quote Link to comment

CalvinKlein
Ending today's post with a FTS. Not sure if I'm gonna keep this scape as I seem to like it. Will let the corals settle in for a couple of days before I get more decent pics. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, water somehow crept between the white foam background and the glass. Hence the ugly dripping stain. Sigh, have to rip the background apart and redo it. What a PITA. 4 Quote Link to comment

kimdawg
I love your mushrooms, you have quite a variety. My local fish store only has basic brown ones, but I have managed to snag a few at some online places. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Your shroom city is amazing! love the deep blues in the back. 2 Quote Link to comment
CalvinKlein
Yeah, hopefully the shrooms will start opening up more tonight. Saw some purple spotted superman shrooms at my LFS but the price is way over my comfort zone. Maybe I should take some pics of the corals that we have over here, would you guys like that? 4 Quote Link to comment
