nano427 Posted June 15, 2019 Share Posted June 15, 2019 Just installed a Tunze 9004 in my IM 40 but it seems too noisy. It sounds like air is gurgling. When I open the air adjuster valve all the way the skimmer gets very quiet, but I can’t use it this way or it’ll over flow the collection cup instantly. I’ve tried moving the skimmer up and down a little bit but it doesn’t really have much adjustment. Actually had the skimmer weirs out of the the water completely and it was still able to get water. Pretty sure my problem is air and not a noisy motor. Any suggestions or advise? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
