Isaacthedev Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 Three weeks ago, I purchased an AI Prime, with the Flex mount from my LFS in Montreal, QC Canada. A few days ago the Allen key screw dislodged, making the arm unstable, so I contacted AquaIllumination, and they told me to go to the store where I purchased from, and they would deal with the distributor. I went to the store , and they told me AquaIllumination considers this physical damage and would not replace it. So I would need to buy another mount. This is in no way the LFS fault, this falls on the hands of AquaIllumination... The product is new, and clearly defective, but they refuse to handle the issue. Many other people have issues with their flex mounts as well, It is poor quality, and the customer service along with it is awful. Needless to say I will not be buying from AquaIllumination again. Melfy77 Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 That's very upsetting!!! I've never been a fan of AI myself. I'm also in Montreal. But yeah these arms are not cheap!!! Physical damage?! You didn't do anything. At this point everything could be classified as physical damage and they wouldn't cover anything. That's so stupid!!! Quote Link to comment
