NO We did a deep clean on the Nyos Skimmer, and just happen to find a few pieces of carbon inside. Thankfully nothing was damaged, but it DEFINITELY hindered the product and efficiency of the skimmer. This week we received some gorgeous new zoanthids from Rob off of Facebook, who has a TREMENDOUS collection of corals!! But, before we put them in the system, we need to make sure they are clean and free of any pests that could have traveled on them. I love this piece of equipment...especially if you have a freshwater tank, I would HIGHLY recommend this one!! FYI, the more you turn on your sink, the more powerful suction you'll get. I didn't have AS strong because I didn't turn on the water at the sink fully. There are plenty of uses to have this piece of equipment in your arsenal!
