I think it is to catch food possibly? The little guy is quite fast and hardly ever brings his whole body out of his hole in the rock. As you can see in the picture he has about 4 little antennas. Any help on id'ing this guy would be much appreciated. Thanks again! Link to comment

Check out the link below: http://www.globaldialog.com/~jrice/invert_...ge/vermetid.htm They are harmless (reef safe) and filter your water column with the web that they cast out. Kinda like a fishing net. They grow fast too. Link to comment
