Rock

What does everyone’s take on rock. I’ve been told 1 pound per gallon and 2 pound per gallon. Right now i have less than a pound per gallon. 180 Lbs of CabriSea life Rock in a 265 gallon tank.

2/3 of a lb per gallon should be alright for a mid to lightly stocked tank.  Nitrifying bacteria will reside on sand, tank walls, equipment, etc.

I have about 35 lbs in a 75 gallon tank..... but I like a less cluttered look in my reefs.
