I've been looking at getting 2 of the IM wavelink midsized pumps not sure if that would be to much flow. My other thought was getting 1 Nero 5. I'm currently running 2 of the aqamai kps pumps but don't seem to be getting enough flow. Let me know what you guys think! TIA Quote Link to comment
jservedio Posted May 13, 2019 Share Posted May 13, 2019 What kind of tank are you running - mostly SPS, mostly LPS or a mix of everything? You may not need any more flow with 2x Aquamai pumps plus the return pump. Quote Link to comment

jservedio Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 If you aren't getting dead spots, you probably have enough flow - you have almost around 2500gph when cranked up. If you want more flow, I always opt for whatever has the widest flow width (Nero, MP, Gyre). As long as it's wide flow, you really aren't ever going to have too much - you are never going to reach the types of flow coral will receive in the ocean. Quote Link to comment
