I didn't notice it for a long time as it's the same color (almost) as coralline algae. It's not a mushroom (or one that I'm familar with) and has texture. There is a second one in a cave that I couldn't get a picture of at all. It doesn't seem to be bothering anything but was wondering what it is. 2 Quote Link to comment

I have several pink and purple-ish sponges. They also change their appearance on occasion......sometimes looking sort of spiky. 3 Quote Link to comment
