Dasani Posted May 5, 2019 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Hello! I've recently hopped back into the hobby after a 5 year break. I've had an IM 10 set up for almost 3 months now and am slowly adding coral. I added a war coral frag 2 days ago and overnight it produced a weird mucus or discharge that's now covering half the frag. It was very stringy to begin with. One string was about 6" long flowing around that I removed. Is this normal? A defense tactic? I did have it closer to a chalice. I was just surprised this happened within a matter of hours. Any quick fix solutions or should I wait it out? 48 hours ago the entire frag looked like the top portion. Quote Link to comment
