It’s almost finished cycling and it has 3 blue legged hermits in it so far? Should I just tell my brother that the mantis idea won’t work? We could just go back to the old idea of it being a crab tank I guess. He likes crabs and other inverts a lot I dont want to tear it down whenever it’s almost cycled Quote Link to comment

Bumping with multiple questions isn't going to get you much of a new answer. If this tank is truly for your brother, what better way for him to learn than by making his own account and doing some of his own research? You can HELP, but you shouldn't be doing all the work for him. Otherwise you'll end up takimg care of everything and it'll be like having two tanks. He doesn’t even have a phone, he can’t create an account. And I’m fine with helping, it’s literally no more work for me. I have a ton of free time right now. All I have to do is check the params for him and that’s it. He knows how to measure salinity and do water changes. Don’t worry about me. It’s not stressful and I kinda like it. The last one that I made was this mantis shrimp one. I usually just post everything in my journal now. I used to create a bunch of unnecessary topics, but now I create one like every 2 weeks, sometimes not even that. And I haven’t been throwing stuff away anymore. I have done everything people have said. This is the only thing that I’m really not listening to, bc I feel like we can do this tank. I have me and my brother working on it. 2 is better than one.
