What's this that a friend wants to give me, and will it be ok in my tank?

Friend at work wants to give me this, as she's in the process of shutting down her tank.

I have no idea what it is but she says light and flow requirements are "medium" ...

Any ideas, I bet you folks can identify it.

Also will it be okay in my Fluval Evo 13.5 with stock light & upgraded powerhead?

Thanks in advance.

That is not a coral.

It is a cluster of feather dusters.

Yea it's fine need medium to moderate flow no real light requirements can feed it phyto or gorge feast or any very small sized food items suitable for gorgs and filter feeders then they should start growing and filling out I had some in my first tank they are nice. Actualy my big ones would steal bits of small flake food sometimes. The red cluster dusters can look realy nice when they fill in.

Will they be eaten or their tubes destroyed by Sexys or Pom Pom crabs?

I’ve never had any issues with shrimp or crabs.  There are a few fish that will eat dusters.
