Snow_Phoenix
Luna under evening blues. Taken without lens filter. 🥰 One of my lead female mollies released a whole batch of fry into the DT yesterday night. Luna had a feast! Her belly is now very round and distended. I enjoyed watching her hunt. Quite a sight to see - she's very skilled at targeting and catching prey. 🥰 Some of the fry made it into my sump (as usual). I'm not sure how many will survive until adulthood, but I'll be tossing some crushed Prime Reef flakes and NLS pellets in there every evening. 👍 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Different angles of Luna today. 💦 Foxy says hi! 🥰 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
In a strange twist of events, Luna the lion began eating seaweed (?) pellets today. So strange. But at least she now has a full belly. 🤷♀️ I'll take some pics once I scrape the glass. (Also have a new batch of molly fry living in the sump) 3 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Scraped the glass today, so I could finally peek into the tank. Thinking of moving this leather to my nano in the future because it has shrunk a fair bit in the 60G: Luna under deep blues: Spaghetti worms all over my rocks: 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Accidently mixed up extra SW today while I was WCing my nano (miscalculation). Wound up performing the smallest ever WC on this tank instead - only 5G. This was also the first official WC I've done for this tank in ~1 year. 😅 No replacement of media, nothing etc. Galaxea looking chunky: My bonded molly pair (Sally & Oyen) : Toadstool puffing up after minor WC: FTS today on 19/7/23 (please excuse my reflection on the glass) : ^This tank needs more lions. 🤭 2 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Little leathers. 💦 Both looking much happier today. Perhaps some occassional small WCs will benefit this tank in the future. 🤔 2 Quote Link to comment

debbeach13
I love this hobby. Where else could we show off every little worm and bug we find. 1 Quote Link to comment

Years later, and I still find myself in awe of all of the small critters that crawl out of my rocks. Some might be regarded as unsightly pests, but I find all of them quite cool (if not a lil' bit scary, sometimes ) and I really appreciate the amount of diversity this hobby has to offer. 1 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
A cute pair of bumblebee snails that I picked up today to tackle my ongoing vermetid snail problem. 🥰👍 2 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
I dropped in a whole school mollies into the tank yesterday and Luna caught a few. I only have 3x dozen or so left, but it should be enough for her for a full month. 😄👍 I do have an issue with my AI Prime 16HD though. It keeps going out of sync with my schedule, and I've been manually rebooting it for the last few days. Today, it could not be rebooted for some reason. So now I have to be patient. The light is lagging behind by ~9 hours, so I have to manually check my time and turn it off overnight, then switch it on again at a specific time to let the schedule 'catch up'. Re-syncing will take around ~1.5 days because I might not be around at that specific time slot to restart it. It's such a pain and very frustrating. This is the fourth (?) time that this light has done this. My older Prime (older model) has no such issues and works just fine. Luckily I don't have much in the way of coral in this tank. Only major downside is half of the tank looks very gloomy. 😕 1 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Tinkered around with my settings in my AI Prime 16HD to no avail. Even adjusting Lunar effects (as recommended by the AI website) and rebooting didn't help with the syncing issue. Finally I just started tapping and clicking random areas on the app, and wound up in the 'Time & Date' section. The timezone and date was correct, but the time itself was backwards. Luckily there was an icon listed 'Set to Current Time' on there, so I clicked it, and my lights resynced for now. I have to manually turn off both of my Primes daily because the vibration from the light's fan(s) is affecting my sleep and giving me minor seizures (I can't handle certain frequencies of sound, and unfortunately a noisy light fan is one of them ). But if the light resyncs everyday, I'll just have to open the app and resync the time feature on my own daily. It didn't use to have this issue because the light auto-syncs whenever I turn it off/on again, but there could be some connectivity issues going on as well - my bluetooth on my phone has been having a hard time detecting the light recently, although I have no idea why. I'm glad my older Prime HD is behaving and doesn't have this bluetooth feature. It also auto-syncs without me touching it, so it ramps up/down on its own. It's already 11.30pm on my end - so I'm going to head to bed soon. Take care, everyone. Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Luna has gained some weight over the past 1+ week. Having a constant source of food has kept her healthy and sated. She's thicker too. 🥰 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Foxy is pretty chunky too. 🥰 I don't hold back when it comes to feeding her. She loves Hikari seaweed pellets and prime reef flakes the most, although she'll wolf down formula one & NLS pellets as well. 😅 Galaxea the bicolor blenny is doing very well too. Check out how bright her lower half is! 👀 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
The scant amount of coral I have in this tank still exists, but are all very slow-growers. Since this tank focuses mainly on fish, I pay less attention to the corals and simply let them grow at their own pace. My nanoreef is the opposite - hyper-focused on corals, nil fish. 😅 1 Quote Link to comment
